EU Shipping Update: Customs and Handling Charges

We’re updating how applicable import-related charges are displayed for orders delivered to the European Union.

Our custom sneakers are handcrafted and shipped from Vietnam. Changes to EU customs procedures and our delivery partners’ charges mean that eligible EU orders may now include separate handling and customs charges at checkout.

What will appear at checkout?

Depending on your delivery address, shipping service and order value, your order may include:

• EU Handling Fee: a contribution toward the handling and customs-processing costs charged through our delivery partners.
• EU Customs Duty: an applicable low-value customs charge for eligible orders with a goods value of €150 or less.

The low-value customs charge is separate from the handling fee. Orders above €150 do not qualify for the €3 low-value charge, but this does not mean they are exempt from normal import duties or taxes.

Any charges collected by KicksInk will appear in your order summary before you complete payment.

Does free shipping include these charges?

Free shipping covers the delivery charge only. Applicable EU handling or customs charges may still apply, even when your order qualifies for free shipping.

Our free-shipping offer for U.S. orders remains unchanged.

Standard and express delivery

Our standard delivery service uses a DDP shipping arrangement, with import processing handled through our logistics partners.

Express delivery does not use the same DDP arrangement. Import duties, taxes or clearance charges may be payable separately, depending on the destination and service. Please review our Shipping & Delivery Policy or contact us before choosing express delivery.

If you are asked to pay a charge that you believe was already collected at checkout, please contact us with your order number and the payment request so we can investigate.

Shopping in another currency

Applicable charges are converted into your checkout currency using our store’s exchange rates. The converted amount is shown before payment.
