Orders & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and PayPal. Full payment is required at the time of checkout. We do not currently offer installment or pay-later options.
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
You may cancel or modify your order within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, production may have already begun and we will be unable to make changes. Please contact us immediately at [email protected] with your order number if you need to make any adjustments.
Products & Quality
Are all shoes truly hand-painted?
Yes. Every pair of KicksInk shoes is 100% hand-painted to order by our artists. Because each pair is crafted by hand, there may be minor variations in color and brushstroke compared to product photos — this is a natural characteristic of handmade artwork, not a defect.
Can I request a fully custom design?
Absolutely. Custom designs are what we do best. Please contact us at [email protected] before placing your order to discuss your ideas, reference images, and color preferences. We’ll guide you through the process from start to finish.
What type of paint is used? Will it crack or peel over time?
We use high-quality, flexible angelus paints specifically formulated for leather and fabric surfaces. When properly cared for, the paint will not crack or peel under normal use. We also apply a protective finish to each pair to maximize durability.
Shipping & Delivery
How long will it take to receive my order?
Each order requires 5–7 business days of production time (7–10 days during holiday seasons). Once shipped, delivery takes approximately 8–25 business days to the US and 15–45 business days internationally. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
Do I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
KicksInk ships worldwide on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis, meaning import duties and customs fees are included in your purchase price. However, local VAT may still apply depending on your country. Please note that the US has recently eliminated the de minimis tax exemption for imports under $800, so US orders are now subject to customs duties. If you have any concerns, please contact us at [email protected].
Returns & Refunds
Can I return or exchange my order?
Because all orders are custom hand-painted to your specifications, we do not accept returns or refunds on custom orders. However, if we made an error with your size, we will remake and reship your order at no cost to you. For eligible cases, exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery. Please refer to our Refund & Exchange Policy for full details.
My package says delivered but I haven’t received it. What should I do?
Please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible. We will work with the carrier to investigate. In most cases, if your package is confirmed lost, we will remake and reship your order at no additional cost to you.
Shoe Care & Maintenance
How do I take care of my hand-painted shoes?
To keep your KicksInk shoes looking their best:
– Avoid submerging in water or machine washing
– Clean gently with a soft dry cloth or soft-bristled brush
– Store away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading
– Apply a sneaker protector spray for added protection against dirt and moisture
– Avoid folding or compressing the painted areas during storage
